Each design is hand drawn by Melodie the founder, inspired by the beauty in everyday life. 

 

Our Story

Hi, I’m Melodie, the founder of Mellie The Label. I’m a young mum to a beach-loving, adventurous toddler who inspires me every day. Watching my little one play, explore, and soak up the outdoors showed me how important it is for kids to have clothing that’s both stylish and easy to wear.

We’re based on Phillip Island, Victoria—a place known for its stunning coastline, surf culture, and laid-back lifestyle. It’s where our family spends most of our time outdoors, and it’s at the heart of everything we create.

As a family, we love to travel and spend our days by the coast, so building a brand that reflects that lifestyle felt natural. What started as an idea on the sand has grown into a collection designed for families like ours—who value comfort, style, and a love for the ocean.
